3:40 PM Evidence of Impact: The Student Relationship Engagement System (SRES)’s Evaluative Progress on Empowering the Instructor- Student Interactions with Student Data
The SRES is built, run and supported by a team of teachers at the University of Sydney. Over its 6 years of its implementation at Sydney and recently at Melbourne and UNSW, we can now assess the program’s impact on how teachers have created personalized learning environments with targeted feedback and support. This session will evaluate this learning analytics tool and how we can strategize against any present and future obstacles.
This session will show you how to:
- Collect, analyze and act on data using the SRES to better engage student
- The impact of having the right data at the right time and place on both student and teacher experience, and performance
- The challenges faced with the SRES
- Meeting the real teaching and learning needs by iterating teacher’s need and acting on real data
